Our heritage recipe traces its roots to the late 19th century (circa 1881–1915)—the era of Booker T. Washington and the founding of the Tuskegee Institute. This was a time when food was crafted with purpose, precision, and pride.

Building on that foundation, Batter & Butter Kitchen introduces our own original creations including the only Honey Wheat Waffle, Booker T. Washington Waffle and our famous Peach Cobbler Waffle, blending historic inspiration with modern indulgence. 

 We bring it all together by combining the world’s best waffles with the world’s best chicken and ice cream featuring Krispy Krunchy Chicken and Hershey’s Ice Cream.
